  • Why should you book this trail?

"It was in the magnificent region of Ouarzazate, and more specifically in the heart of Skoura palm grove, that I truly fell in love with Morocco and decided to make it my home. My experience in this region has truly changed my life! Although I live in Essaouira, a part of my heart continues to beat for Skoura and its surroundings. That's why I want to make you discover this region that is so special to me, and why we organize one or two trails there every year!
The richness of this region lies in the extreme kindness of its inhabitants, the beauty of the landscapes that make you feel very small, the majestic old kasbahs that are the soul of the small Berber villages made of mud that we cross, and above all the rich colors of the earth, mountains, and oases.
It's hard to describe how you feel when you see these mountains, with the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains in the background, following us along our journey as we ride through oases and green valleys. These contrasting landscapes are what make this trek so special!
Not to mention encounters with nomads and their herds of goats and sheeps. Simple people who still live a troglodytic lifestyle, but whose wealth lies in the land, nature, and their animals.
This trail is more than just a change of scenery; it's a real return to your roots, a complete immersion in the nomadic way of life, and you'll inevitably leave a little piece of your heart in this region when you'll get back home...
I really hope you'll love it as much as I do!!"
